Army of Darkness #15: Hellbillies and Deadnecks
I still don’t believe this happened. Oh, comics continuity.

This cover was my Desktop wallpaper for a while. Why does Nick Bradshaw have the best art?
Because it’s a rule.
Thanks to my friend MISSY for bringing this to my attention!
Dynamite is ending its Army of Darkness comics series. It’s been a fucking crazy ride filled with ups (Bradshaw art and canon fodder and Ash/Sheila) as well as downs (more than half of the storylines, to be honest… what the hell was that Obama crossover guys?).
Too bad the final story won’t have any closure. Bawwww.
This new comic arch is proof that comics canon is going out the window. Fast.
They try justifying the set-up… but it just doesn’t work. And after reading two issues? I am so done. This is even worse than the one-shot Montezuma’s Revenge was.
First off - the art’s changed. Again. For the worse.
Second - it doesn’t make sense. At all. Supposedly Ash is stuck serving food at the cafeteria in the middle of the convention center because someone else called out. And supposedly Obama is making a pit-stop to buy action figured of himself before visiting a car factory. And supposedly the Necronomicon was put into comic book format just to piss Ash off.
I don’t even know.
And I’m not wasting my time posting scans. Maybe only one or two more.
